Jacob Stover is an Associate in the Land & Investment Division at Henry S. Miller. Jacob Stover is a professional lacrosse player who has won two world championships with the Whipsnakes Lacrosse Club. He also serves as the goalie director for Highland Park Scotts Lacrosse Program and Texas Nationals Lacrosse Club. In addition, he is an assistant coach for the Scotts Varsity Blue Team.

Personal Information

Jacob Stover was born in Round Rock, Texas, but his family moved to Baltimore in 2001 when his father’s career led them there. From 2001 to 2020, they called Baltimore their home before Jacob made the decision to move back to Texas to pursue a career in commercial real estate, lacrosse, and be closer to his extended family. In Jacob’s free time, he enjoys coaching lacrosse, golfing, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. The move back to Texas came as a result of the pandemic hitting as he wanted to be in a more stable environment and be closer to loved ones. So far, the transition has been smooth and he is loving being back home.

Education

Jacob Stover is a recent graduate of Loyola University Maryland. He received his undergraduate degree in Communications with a focus in Advertising & Public Relations in 2019. He then returned to Loyola and graduated from the Sellinger School of Business with a Master’s in business administration in August 2020.

Jacob had always been a talented lacrosse player, but it was his hard work and dedication that led to him being recruited by Loyola University Maryland’s Men’s Lacrosse Program. As a true freshman, he earned the starting goalie position and helped lead the Greyhounds to a Final Four appearance. Throughout his collegiate career, he received Patriot League Goalie of the Year honors twice, led the Greyhounds to three Patriot League titles in four years, made four NCAA Tournament berths, and received USILA 1st Team All-American Honors his senior year. Jacob’s hard work and success on the field is a testament to his dedication to the sport of lacrosse.
