Prior to his affiliation with the Henry S. Miller Companies, Awad was President and CEO of Image Technology Systems, an IT company providing software solutions to the hotel industry. Their property management software system Visual Matrix was installed in 30 countries at over 2,500 properties. Visual Matrix was installed in franchise and independent properties. At the time Awad sold his company, Visual Matrix was Best Western’s number one PMS vendor with over 70% market share in North America.
