Under the name HSM Dalcon, Inc., Henry S. Miller Development targets shovel-ready projects in growth markets and infill land in order to develop lots for homebuilder clients needing immediate positions in those areas. We work exclusively with builders that construct high-quality customized production homes. Each is ranked among the top 50 homebuilders in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

HSM Dalcon’s past projects have provided 3,903 lots in communities all around the DFW Metroplex including Midlothian, Waxahachie, Plano, Frisco, Irving and Garland, as well as near Houston and other locations in Texas.


Henry S. Miller focuses on developing retail centers in growth markets around Dallas-Fort Worth and cities in which our regional offices are located. We look for land that is near an entertainment district or close to an established grocery-anchored center, so tenants can share the clientele and contribute to the “experience” that today’s consumer wants.

Other retail center location criteria include:

  • Corner spots
  • Good daytime business
  • Growth that will be sustained for 20 years

To find the right tenant mix for a new retail center, our development professionals pursue businesses offering products and services that are Internet resistant, such as restaurants, neighborhood services and medical providers.

The Henry S. Miller Multifamily Residential Development Group combines the experience, talent and knowledge of a team of professionals to oversee the entire residential and multifamily development process for the company.   Our areas of expertise include property identification, market analysis and land acquisition.   Additionally, architects and engineers are engaged early to prepare preliminary development plans to support management of the zoning and entitlement efforts.  Complete construction management services along with assistance with financing and exit strategies are important areas of the team’s expertise.   Primary experience and desired development types include multifamily, senior, townhome and garden home developments.
