Paul Vernon Negotiates Two Leases for The Toasted Yolk Café in Houston and Sugar Land
(Houston, TX) Paul Vernon, Executive Vice President in the Retail Division for Henry S. Miller Brokerage, represented The Toasted Yolk Café in two leases in the Houston and Sugar Land markets.
A new Toasted Yolk franchisee has signed the lease for a 5,000-square-foot second-generation restaurant space in Houston. Located in The Americana Shopping Center at the southeast quadrant of Westheimer and Fountainview Roads, Toasted Yolk joins Los Cucos Mexican Café, Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse and Mayuri India Restaurant. This franchise is slated to open in August, while a different franchisee will open in Katy in May.
The second lease, signed by Toasted Yolk Café Corporate, is for a 5,954-square-foot space next to Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Sugar Land Town Square. This brings the total number of corporate restaurants to seven locations. Four are currently open and three are under construction: Toasted Yolk in New Caney is scheduled to open in May; the Sugar Land location is scheduled to open in August; and a restaurant in The Woodlands will open near the end of 2018.
The Toasted Yolk Café was established in the Houston area in 2010. Open for breakfast and lunch, the restaurant closes at 3 pm to ensure work/life balance for employees. The Toasted Yolk Café serves beer and wine, a unique offer among restaurants of its type, and is currently franchising throughout the state of Texas.
