Miller adds two new team members to their DFW Retail Division

DALLAS, TX – – June 30, 2014 – – Henry S. Miller is proud to announce the addition of two new retail specialists to their Dallas-Fort Worth Retail Team; David Wallace and Merrel Moore. “I am excited about the growth of our retail division; David and Merrel bring to us an excellent combination of experience in real estate, strong relationships and solid knowledge of the Dallas Fort Worth area!  They are great additions to our team,” said Retail Division President, Michael Dee.
David Wallace brings with him more than 15 years of retail real estate experience. Prior to joining Henry S. Miller, Wallace was a broker with another brokerage firm in Dallas where he specialized in the leasing and sales of retail properties. Before brokerage, David was the owner of BACKRITE, a spin-off that he formed with the owner of the BUSY BODY retail chain. As owner of BACKRITE, Wallace was in charge of the company’s corporate marketing, buying, hiring and training of sales staff and corporate financials. Wallace provides a unique understanding of the retail real estate transaction, as he has played a role on both sides of the deal. Wallace’s skill, talent, experience and resources coupled with his attention to detail and excellent customer service are sure to enhance the services that Miller’s Retail team provides.

Henry S. Miller’s Retail Division also added Merrel Moore, a well-known name with the commercial retail community who has for 35 years managed, leased and operated a substantial real estate portfolio for Radar Properties. At Radar, Merrel was the Director of Leasing where he oversaw the family-owned real estate portfolio that included 11 shopping centers, 24,000 square feet of warehouse property and a variety of other real estate investments. Moore possesses a breadth of real estate experience which spans from qualifying prospective tenants to construction coordination. Moore has contributed to every aspect of the real estate deal and will continue to contribute to the success of the Miller Retail Division.
