Mark Porterfield and Robert Henry Represent Seller of The Hickory Apartments, Garland, TX

(Garland, TX) Mark Porterfield, Senior Vice President of the Investments and Land Division for Henry S. Miller Brokerage, and Robert Henry, an associate in the same division, represented JMY Investments in the sale of The Hickory Apartments in Garland, TX, to Blackwood Developments, a Dallas-based investor and developer.
The 68-unit apartment complex is located at 320 South Jupiter Road. Built in 1963, the courtyard style community offers a mix of one-and two-bedroom units. A comprehensive renovation package including interior finish and appliance upgrades will be completed over the next year. Blackwood Developments was self-represented in the purchase of The Hickory Apartments.

Robert Henry is an associate in the Investments and Land Division at Henry S. Miller. As the first graduate of the one-year rotational HSM Broker Trainee Program, Robert worked with lead brokers in a number of divisions at Henry S. Miller before joining the Investments and Land Division in 2014. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Robert earned a B.A. in Commerce and Business at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR).
