HSM Announces New Hire and Promotions of Two Key Executives
DALLAS – – Henry S. Miller Companies is proud to announce the addition of Mark Smith, an experienced commercial property developer, to its team of real estate professionals.
Mark, who now serves as Vice President of Henry S. Miller Equity Partners, brings over 45 years of commercial real estate experience to the Miller team. Mark’s primary experience has been in the development, renovation and management of retail centers in the Texas market. Mark has also developed warehouse projects, managed office buildings and owned and operated a privately owned real estate brokerage company. Over the last several years Mark has carved a niche in developing upscale shopping centers in the Metroplex and given the dramatic growth in the outlying suburbs of the Dallas/Fort Worth markets, plans to continue to pursue a similar strategy as part of the HSM organization. Currently he is actively seeking well positioned retail sites, land for development within two years and existing retail centers with strong upside potential.
John Downs has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Henry S. Miller Equity Partners, Inc. John is responsible for overseeing the management, leasing and financial operations for a number of Henry S. Miller owned assets. John manages assets throughout Texas and the Southeast Region of United States. The majority of his portfolio is comprised of commercial retail properties in Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma and Mississippi.
Jeff McKenney was recently promoted to Executive Vice President of HSM Dalcon, Inc., the residential development group of the Henry S. Miller Companies. Jeff is responsible for Miller’s extensive residential land development activity in the DFW area as well as throughout the State of Texas. Jeff specializes in land acquisition, planning, infrastructure build-out, lot development, development management, marketing and sales of properties and projects.
We congratulate John Downs and Jeff McKenney as well as welcome Mark Smith to the team.
