Houston retail team completes three leases totaling 9,300sf

HOUSTON, TX – – Henry S. Miller Brokerage’s Greater Houston Retail Division team, Shawn Ackerman, President, and Assistant Vice President Cyrus Chen recently completed three new leases within the Greater Houston area; Urgent Care in League City, Metro PCS in Houston, and Sylvan Learning Center in Pearland. Ackerman and Chen specialize in the representation of leasing at multiple retail properties throughout Houston and offer their clients a unique understanding of various retail deals and negotiation specifics.
In League City, Ackerman and Chen represented their client and landlord in the lease of their vacant ±4,800 square foot retail space a Laurel Bay Center near South Shore Harbor. Located at 2660 Marina Bay Drive this site will serve as a new location for Urgent Care. The tenant was represented by Jon Jamison of NewQuest Properties.

In Houston, Ackerman and Chen represented the landlord of Steeplechase Shopping Center in the lease of a ±1,740 square foot retail space to Metro PCS. Located at 10927 Jones Road, Steeplechase Shopping Center is home to a variety of Fallas Paredes, Palais Royal, Anna’s Linens and other well known national retailers. Steeplechase consistently maintains an occupancy of more than 90% and is an ideal location for retailers.

In Pearland, the team represented the landlord of Silverlake Shopping Center in the lease renewal of a ±2,800 square foot space leased to Sylvan Learning Center.  The space is specifically located in Suite 160 at 10228 Broadway and was renewed by Trinity dba Sylvan Learning Center. Sylvan has been successfully operating their tutoring center at Silverlake since 2010.
