Henry S. Miller’s Sam Chang Partners with Murray Aronson, Inc., Secures Lease for Team Rubicon

(Houston, TX) Sam Chang, Senior Associate with Henry S. Miller Brokerage, and John W. Murray III with Murray Aronson, Inc., represented Team Rubicon in the lease of an 8,176-square foot warehouse at 2710 Reed Road in Houston. Darryl Noon with Transwestern represented the landlord, NP Park 288 LLC.

Team Rubicon is a nonprofit organization that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams. One day after Hurricane Harvey made landfall along the Texas Gulf Coast last August, Team Rubicon arrived to help.

Initially involved in cleanup, the organization now intends to remain in the area for the next few years in order to rebuild 100 homes damaged during the hurricane. Team Rubicon will be targeting homes in Brazoria County. The warehouse will provide space needed to store construction and cleanup equipment.

“In order for Team Rubicon to fulfill its commitment to Houston-area residents impacted by Hurricane Harvey, it was imperative we invest in a space that would allow us to store and distribute equipment as well as organize and train volunteers and staff for the work that lies ahead,” said Team Rubicon Senior Construction Manager David Venables. “Our goal is to rebuild 100 hurricane-impacted homes by 2020, and we look forward to serving and collaborating with the greater Houston community.”
