DALLAS – Henry S. Miller Cos. held its annual charity softball tournament on Friday, November 13th. For the third year in a row, commercial real estate companies have gathered at Oran Good Park in Farmers Branch to raise money for Dallas’ Family Gateway. Eight teams participated in the double elimination tournament, coordinated by Miller’s Monica James.
All proceeds from the tournament went directly to Family Gateway. Registration fees and day-of donations totaled over $5,000; close to doubling what was earned during the first year.
The day started off with a Home Run Derby with Brady Maus taking home the trophy and Matt Squire taking second. At the end of the day The Retail Connection came out on top, winning the tournament for the third year in a row. Edge Realty Partners came in second place and Weitzman Group coming in third.
Henry S. Miller would like to thank all of the volunteers, companies and umpires that donated their time and services. Miller will be hosting the 4th Annual Charity Softball Tournament in 2016 and hopes to make it an even larger event than this year. If you are interested in registering your company’s team or volunteering, please contact Monica James at firstname.lastname@example.org.
