(McKinney, TX) HSM Equity Partners, Inc., the commercial development arm of Henry S. Miller Companies, purchased a three-acre retail tract at the southwest corner of McKinney Ranch Parkway and Ridge Road in McKinney, TX, which is one block north of Stacy Road and one mile north of Sam Rayburn Tollway (State Highway 121). The development consists of a one-acre pad and a 21,000 square-foot retail center. Construction will begin during the second quarter of 2017.
According to Mark Smith, Senior Vice President of Commercial Development, HSM Equity Partners, the development will be a service center for area residents.
“There are more than 3,000 apartment units and homes on the market now or coming on the market surrounding this location,” said Mr. Smith. “We are working on pre-leasing now and anticipate having tenants including casual restaurants, a dentist and the like. This will be a very convenient service center for people living nearby.”
Joe Benton of Benton Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller and Lynn Dowdle of Dowdle Real Estate represented the purchaser. Linda Zimmerman, Senior Vice President of HSM Retail Division is marketing the development.
