Professional History

Mr. Averyt has worked for Henry S. Miller Brokerage for 18 years. Prior to joining HSM Brokerage, LLC, Mr. Averyt worked with Grubb & Ellis for five years serving  both office and industrial clients.

Mr. Averyt began his real estate career in 1977 with Vantage Companies, primarily specializing in the development and leasing of new office properties. He has repeatedly proven his ability to maintain occupancy levels of 90% or more in a wide variety of office space. After fourteen years with Vantage, Mr. Averyt worked for CB Commercial as Tenant Advisory Specialist and Centre Development Company as a Senior Marketing Representative.

Personal Information

Mr. Averyt was born in San Angelo, TX. He has been married to his wife Terry for 24 years. He has two daughters from a previous marriage; Schuyler who is 39 and Ashley who is 34, and a son with Terry, Wren, who is a 22-year-old senior at Texas A&M. In his free time, Mr. Averyt loves to hunt, fish, and play racquetball, ride horses, and take trips with his family.
