Tom began his real estate career with Grubb & Ellis in the winter of 2002. Not much was happening in real estate at that time so it was the perfect time to build a new career. Tom had spent the previous eight years building up an industrial lighting business in San Antonio for the Duro-Test Lighting Corporation. Mark Schwarz, General Manager for Grubb & Ellis in San Antonio, directed his training period and directed his focus on how to be successful in the industrial sector. He started knocking on doors and learning the territory from the ground up. Soon owners began to ask him to represent them in the sale or lease of their buildings. The rest is history. Now one of the most knowledgeable realtors to represent small to medium sized building owners in San Antonio, Tom continues to make a career in that market. Referrals from other practitioners are included in his pipeline. Tom moved his license to Henry S. Miller Commercial in the summer of 2005. Tom continues to build his portfolio of properties in the industrial sector and has expanded his expertise to land, retail and investment listings. Tom also represents buyer and tenant clients. He was named Top Producer in 2007. He is a member of SABOR's RCA chapter for commercial realtors. In January of 2010, Tom became the Broker of Record for the San Antonio office.
